The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir Performs Marek Jasiński’s composition “Psalm 100” as part of their competition repertoire in the Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions Competition and Festival in 2015 which consisted of 19 competitors from 11 different countries around the world which embraced the different aspects of singing, dancing and orchestral ensembles. The choir walked away from the competition with a first place prize sponsored by the Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage for the choral section of the competition as well as a cash prize

The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir sings an impromptu performance of “The Lord Is My Rock” by composer Branko Stark in the Wieliczka Salt Mines whilst on tour in Poland in July 2015.

The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir is the oldest youth choir in South Africa, founded by Mr. Hein de Villiers in 1968 – celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2013.

The KwaZulu-Natal Youth Choir chamber choir performing Lacrimosa by composer Calixto Álvarez at the Florence International Choir Competition / Festival in Italy. The Choir was awarded 1st Place in this category and the soloist, Pearl Khwezi, was awarded Best Female Soloist in the competition!
